Apprenticeship Programme Success

Apprenticeship Programme Success

It is one of Tyneside’s long term goals to try and employ and develop new apprentices within the business and as such there is nothing better to see the on-going development of Adam Johnson.

Adam started working for Tyneside on the 17th November 2014 as an apprentice factory operator and initially completed a 2 year apprenticeship which included a Level 2 PMO qualification in manufacturing through Gateshead College.

He developed his skills within the bullet resistant glass manufacturing department and showed  great aptitude for overseeing the quality, final inspection and packaging of this specialist product.

Due to the hard work and dedication he has shown throughout his time at Tyneside and the interest he has shown for the Quality aspects required for processing specialist glass we were delighted to offer him a staff position within our Quality Control team earlier this year.

We are exceptionally confident that Adam will continue to go from strength to strength and we look forward to offering our full support in his career development within Tyneside.
